Camping Trip to North Fork

We went camping with the Baldwin family and Amanda's parents to North Fork. They made the best dutch oven dinner and Amanda and I made peach cobbler for the first time. It was surprisingly really good, and it was so easy to make. I decided that I need to cook dutch oven more often. We also went on a hike to see a waterfall. It was hard trying to carry Kalli and hike up this trail at the same time. Amanda and her dad helped me out by taking turns holding Kalli. Blake had to leave early on Saturday to go to work, so he missed the hike. Kalli and Braxton were completely dirty by the end of the day, and every time we would pick them up, we would get covered in dirt. I guess that is some of the fun of camping, getting DIRTY.

Backyard Barbecue

The Martinez family had a BBQ at their house this past weekend. They had a little swimming pool in their backyard that the kids thought would be fun to swim in (with their clothes on). By the end of the night, most of the kids were stripped down to their diapers and running around naked. It was pretty funny. The food and company were great.

My Sisters-My Friends

These are my two younger sisters. Megan is 18 and recently graduated from High school in May and will be attending Dixie State College in the fall. Courtney is the baby of the family and is 16. She will be a Junior at Weber High where she is a cheerleader. Since she is so tiny, she gets to do a lot of stunts and gets thrown into the air a lot.

Sisters

What a cute couple!

Happy 4th of July!

Busy Day

For the 4th of July, we went to Cherry days and watched the police department and firefighters battle it out on the baseball field. We than went to Liberty Day's to watch my brothers play in a volleyball game, unfortunatily we got there to late and missed the games. My friend and use-to-be neighbor Kevin Jones owns a lawn-mower catepillar made out of old barrels that were painted green with yellow spots on them. He took Kalli for a couple rides around the park on it, she loved it and would wave to everyone as it drove by. We than went to the movies and saw Ratatouille. Since it was 4:15 and Kalli hadn't taken a nap yet, I thought for sure she would fall asleep during the movie. I was so wrong, she wouldn't stay still and was crying and being fussy. Blake ended up taking her out half way through the movie and missed the rest of the show. Sorry honey. We than went to Kelly Bartletts house and ate really good food and Kalli went swimming in their pool. After Kalli was done swimming, we went home and got ready for the fireworks. We went to Weber High and watched their firework show with the Bartlett family. As soon as the stadium lights went out and the fireworks started, Kalli went to sleep. She did that at the Founder Day Firework show too. It was a long day, but a lot of fun.

Friends

Blake and I had a BBQ with friends the night before July 4th. Kevin and Amanda and their little boy Braxton were there, along with Cody and Sarah and their two little boys. Brady and Channa just moved back to Ogden from California, so it was fun to see them and their little boy-Nathan. JD and Ashley were also in town from Oregon, they had been driving all day and they still stopped by with their two little kids. It was good to see everybody and hang out.
