Tyler

My brother Tyler came home from his mission today. He was in the Paraguay North mission. Everyone came to the airport (except Megan who is in Europe), to welcome him home. My parents posted a sign at Kirts drive-in for him to see. Welcome home!

Camping Trip

We had the Stanford family reunion at Pineview Dam over the weekend. We went up Thursday and set up camp, went swimming and made smores. We then went on a bike ride through the park. On Friday we went jet skiing and wake boarding. The kids played on the beach and in the water. Later that night we played "Ripple," a card game using Skipbo cards. On Saturday we just hung around camp and then packed up and went home. That night we went up to Weber High and watched the fireworks for Founders Day. Poor Kalli wasn't feeling very well during the trip, she has 3 molars coming in and kept touching her mouth and crying. She was a trooper and still had a good time.

Just like mom

It's amazing how fast kids pick up on things. Today I was in the bathroom washing my face and applying cold cream. Kalli was just standing next to me and watching. Kalli then gets up and runs into her room, she returned about 5 minutes later with diaper rash cream all over her face and holding a tube of diaper cream. She just looked at me and started laughing.

A day in the mountains

So I have been busy this summer with a new job and flirting with going back to school. I put going back to school off as I was promoted to Branch Manager at Wells Fargo. It has been way busy and I have been putting in some 50-55 hour weeks these past three weeks. So in my spare time (if I find any) I have started mountain biking and rock climbing. I don't have any shots from rock climbing but I will add some as soon as I can. It is great fun and I really enjoy doing it.
These pics are up Wheeler Canyon right by Pineview Dam. It is on the way up to Snowbasin and you can even get on the old Snowbasin road and cruise up the resort if you prefer the road. My friends and I chose the dirt road and it is a ton of fun, the best part is going down.

Blake's new hobby

Blake's Blog Day

So as an unofficial fathers day present Crystal and I got a new truck. It is a 2005 Toyota Tacoma, I love it and try to find any excuse I can to drive it. I am keeping my Honda and will drive it most of the time to save on gas. Here are a few good shots of it, we were in a big hurry to snap these pics and unfortunately didn't put our house in the background.

Happy Father's Day

Kalli and I made Blake a Father's Day card with pictures of her dressed up in it. I put a picture of Kalli dressed up as a Doctor and wrote, "When I grow up, I want to be a Doctor." I did that with all the different pictures. The last picture was Kalli dressed up as her dad-wearing his shirt and hat and it said, "What I really want to be when I grow up, is to be just like my DAD." Happy Father's Day.

Sarah's Wish

The Make-a-wish foundation threw Sarah a Princess party. All her cousins attended and dressed up as princess's. They all wore pink dresses and tiara's. They listened to music, danced and played games. Afterward they had cupcakes and ice cream. This week Sarah and her family are leaving for Disney World as Sarah's "Wish." Have fun-see you when you get home!
