Kamden

A short post with many words.

So Kamden was running around in our bathroom, slipped on some water and did a nose dive into the tile. He ended up with a nice lac above his left eye and 8 stitches. Ugh, I was so frustrated. They couldn't use any topical numbing cream because the lac was so close to the eye. It took four of us to hold him down while the injected him with lidocaine. Seriously, this was so hard for me. You would think being a nurse, that I would be use to this. However, it's completely different when it's your OWN child. About half way through the procedure Kamden started screaming, "Mommy, I'm done. All done. Mommy, I'm done." I just wanted to be able to hold him and comfort him. Also, I guess Kamden wasn't competely numb when they started the suturing. He started screaming with the first couple of sutures. I just felt so bad for the little guy!

A Day At The Zoo!

We took the kids to the Zoo (our first time at Hogle Zoo).

The kids were to tired to walk anymore. So we gave in and rented a wagon.

Kamden loved watching the animals!

We watched the Wildlife show. This was my favorite part of the day.

I asked Kalli what her favorite part of the day was, she replied, "the COTTONCANDY." Silly girl!

After A Long Day..........

1st Day of School!

Kalli had her first day of school. I was working, so Blake got her ready for the BIG day. He even did her hair. She was sooo excited for school...she just loves it!!

Kalli's Dance Recital

Kalli had her dance recital at the Clearfield Aquatic Center. She danced to I'm Lindana! She did such a great job and had so much fun.

Kalli also wanted to be a cat...with fangs! She originally wanted the big black spider, a skull or a shark. Seriously......you would think she would like a flower or butterfly. Nope, the scarier the better.

Kalli's dance group had two floats in the Roy parade. Kalli thought it was so fun to wear her costume and ride the float with her dancer friends.
