Blake turned the BIG 28 (on Friday). We had so much fun. We went to the Outback Steakhouse for dinner with Kent, Cyndy, Carson and Anna. We then went to our house for cake, ice cream and opening presents. My family was out-of-town, so we're going to celebrate his birthday with them on Thursday in Salt Lake. Blake is such a great husband and father and we just adore him! Happy birthday honey-we love you!
We finally moved into our new house-We love it! The first thing Iunpackedwas the Christmas tree and decorations. It just didn't seem like Christmas without a Christmas tree. We somehowlostour camera in the move (I'm usingmy sisters), but I'll take pics of the house and show everybody. Just give me time to unpack!Hope you enjoy! Have a Merry Christmas!
We got NEWS......the stork will be dropping in on June 14th with a new addition to our family. We are so excited and feel so blessed to be having another baby. These are pictures of me with my pregnancy test and the bottom pic is of our 1st ultrasound of the baby. I always feel relieved when I go to the doctor and hear the fetal heartbeat and see the ultrasound of the baby! I have an appointment next week and I'm hoping that we will be able to find out the sex of the baby. I'll be only 14 weeks so it's still pretty early...but I can wish. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated.
On Saturday Kevin, Jen, Crystal, Kalli and I (Blake) decided to go get a bite to eat at Costa Vida at the Junction. Kevin and I also decided it would be a great opportunity to climb at the IROCK climbing gym. It was a blast, we even made Kalli hang from a couple of small boulders (she is on the right track) It was our first real big snowfall and the weather was perfect inside the building. Thanks Kevin and Jen for making it so much fun. I am in blue Kevin is in red. This was a pic of a little lunge-jump thing that gets you about 15 feet up then you drop to a pad. It is great fun.
We went to Jeremy and Connie's for Thanksgiving dinner along with Kent, Cyndy, Carson, Annalisa, Shawn and Blake's grandpa. We had a fun time eating great food, watching football and talking about past memories.
This weekend Kevin Wold and I thought we would get in a climb since the weather has been so nice. We went up Ogden Canyon to a climb called nuts and bolts. As you can see I am a bit nuts myself and got a bit carried away. It was a very fun climb and we enjoyed the 60 degree weather in November. The wall shaded the sun though so it was a bit cooler than that and the rock was cold so our hands took a bit of a beating. Ladies, sorry I am married.
Blake and Kalli watching the football game. We went to the BYU-TCU game last Thursday. The game had a late start at 7:00-so I wasn't sure how well Kalli would do and if she would be able to stay awake for the whole game. She was able to stay awake for the first three quarters, but she finally fell asleep in the fourth.
Blake and Kalli (yawning in this picture). She was starting to get tired! Kalli finally fell asleep in the 4th quarter. She missed the ending to a good game. BYU won 27-22! Go cougars!
Blake, Kalli and I went to Maryland, along with Cyndy and Shawn to visit Blakes brother (Brandon) his wife Cindy and their four cute kids. We had so much fun. We went to a pumpkin patch, halloween party at a farm and carved pumpkins. We also spent one day at the Baltimore Aquarium and went to a dolphin show. This picture is of Kalli (with a full head of hair), okay it's not much, but it's slowing coming in, on the airplane ride to Baltimore!
Brandon and Cindy's ward threw a halloween party at one of the ward members farm land. They had a huge barn the was decorated with scarecrows, pumpkins and witches. Tables were set up all over the barn and were decorated with big pumpkin center pieces with flowers coming out the middle-very creative. The kids had fun playing halloween games. They also had a hay ride, chili cook off and a dessert contest! At the end of the night they had a trunk-or-treat for the kids. We had so much fun and the kids loved it!Kalli was a lady bug for Halloween. She looked adorable!
Blake and I went to St. George over the weekend for my birthday. Blake's parents along with my parents were also in town. We had so much fun. We had a date night with the Baker family on Friday. On Saturday my family took us out to lunch at Chili's and than we went back to Blake's parents condo and open up presents and ate cake. Blake bought me this Cheesecake that I love. Thanks honey! Also, many thanks to my family and friends for their support.
Blake and his family took me out to dinner at the Outback Steakhouse (our favorite) for my birthday dinner. Thanks you guys!
Blake and Kalli taking a Sunday nap!
We had a date night with the Baker family and went and played laser tag (which was a blast) and glow-in-the dark miniature golf. We than went to Samurai 21, which is a Japanese steakhouse for dinner. They cook the food in front of you. This is a picture of John our chef cooking a tower of onion rings.
Here's Blake and I with the Baker family at the restaurant ! Yummy Food!
This is a picture of John spinning an egg on a spatula.
This is a picture of a scarecrow that I made for the harvest season with some friends. Special thanks to Kylee, Shawna and Kristin who always come up with fun and creative ideas.
My friend from high school and college roomie from USU, Ashley Moyes and I went to Park City to visit our friend Laura Willis and her cute daughter (Mikala) for her birthday. We went to Fuego Bistro's restaurant for lunch and had really good BBQ chicken pizza and ceasar salad. My favorite!
We than went to the outlet stores to shop. It was really cold, and we were getting snowed on, so we didn't shop for too long. We then went to the Olive Garden for dinner (I guess I like Italian food). It was fun to hang out with my friends from high school again. Thanks you guys for a great weekend trip!
Blake and I have been married for 10 years. We have three adorable children. I've been busy being a full time mom and working at Mckay Dee Hospital as a Registered Nurse. Blake is working with Forest Pharmaceuticals Inc. as a Pharmaceutical Rep.
